CHARACTERISTICS OF THE STICK:
The Nexus Sync is a mid kick point stick that is designed to control and distribute the puck without any effort. It comes with a ergo-shaft (5 sides), a nice clean grip, is well balance and feels extremely lightweight.

VISUAL ASPECTS OF THE STICK:
I've decided not to talk about graphics anymore as this aspect of the stick is really a question of a personnal preference. The overall finish of the stick in terms of construction looks really good though. It does looks like a high-end stick.

OVERALL PLAYABILITY

STICK HANDLING:
The Nexus sticks from Bauer as always been a high sensation twigs. We really feel the puck on the blade. This makes stick handling a breeze. The stick also feels so light. Everything feels right.

PASSING:
This category is incredible. Catching a pass is effortless and the puck seems to die on your blade. There is no wasted time to control the puck as well. As for distributing passes, everything feels right too. The blade mid-stiffness and feel makes it easy to be accurate on all type of passes.

SHOOTING:
Being a low kick fan, I was surprise how I adapt rapidly to this mid-kick stick. The release is fast, hard and consistent. The stick performs well for all type of shots too. The shaft is super easy to load and offers amazing recoil. The blade mid-stiffness makes it easy to aim at the net. It has just the right amount of pop.

CONCLUSION
If you are looking for a high performance, user friendly stick with awesome puck feel, a great release and overall elite performance, the Nexus Sync is a fantastic choice.
