What you need to know about helmet certification for Canada //CSA certification is the ONLY mandatory certification for Canada. That's why you must always leave this sticker applied to the helmet. //CE certification is for the European Union and is not valid in Canada. //HECC certification with a date written on the sticker is for the United States only. It is IMPORTANT to note that the date on the sticker is NOT an expiration date for the helmet but rather an expiration date for the US certification. The helmet may still be good for several years if it is in good condition.
