GENERAL FIT:
The fit is different than what we are used to but it's quite amazing. It is clearly one of the things that makes it stand out from the other helmets out there. It fits snug everywhere without being too lose or too tight. 

ADJUSTABILITY:
It can be adjusted length wise with the side clips (one on each side) without the use of any tools. The "X" liner properties fills in the gaps on the sides or it will compresse if needed to. 

STABILITY:
Once adjusted to your head, the helmet feels pretty stable since there is no real negative space inside. 

COMFORT:
For sure, comfort is a personnal thing, but this helmet is extremely comfortable. The "X" liner feels spongy and creates no pressure points. The fact that it stays cool during the game also helps with the comfort. 

MIRROR EFFECT:
For such a high-tech helmet, it does look pretty slim / slick on the head. It sits deep enough and is not too wide. It definitly got the "NHL" players approval look. 

OVERALL WEIGHT SENSATION:
The weight is pretty standard for this type of helmet. Not super lightweight but not too heavy either. 

BREATHABILITY:
WOW !! I've never seen a helmet with so much airflow. This is another feature about this helmet that makes it stand appart from the competition. It's a good thing that CCM's does a lot of advertising about this, because it really does keep your head cooler versus the other helmets. 

PROTECTION PROVIDED:
The Super Tacks "X" offers elite level protection. The 3D printed lattice liner construction matched with the Tacks 910 outershell will protect your head against all type of impacts just like any other high-end helmet on the market would do.

CONCLUSION:
In conclusion, let's just say that this helmet is something else ! As of right now, there is nothing like it on the market. It is a real revolution in terms of comfort, fit and breathability. With its low profile look and great protection, no wonder so many NHL players are switching their helmet for this one. Yes, the price tag that comes with it is expensive, but CCM really went all out with this helmet. They brought a brand new and very exclusive technology and made it available for all the hockey players out there. And just like all the other super high-end gear that is now available on the market, this comes with a bigger price tag.
